A fuzzy interval based multi-criteria homogeneous group decision making technique: An application to airports ranking problem

چکیده

This paper aims to develop and introduce a fuzzy Interval based Multi-criteria homogeneous Group Decision making technique (IMGD) make appropriate decision under environment. In multi-criteria group process, of makers often considers several subjective criteria for ranking set alternatives. Due vague imprecise information, generally utilize linguistic variables which are mandatorily converted into triangular or trapezoidal numbers. The total process then becomes very complex time consuming. current investigation advocates intervals instead numbers simplification the situation ease calculation. this method, performance ratings weights assessed by first mean normalized crisp combined together determine initially individual contribution aggregate each alternative final selection alternative. new model is demonstrated with an application airports problem better clarification verification. outcome proposed validated results obtained well-known existing MCDM techniques. analysis shows that method applicable, useful effective
